We're currently cycling the Elbe Cycle Path. We came across this place while looking for affordable accommodations. Upon arrival, we received a very friendly and warm welcome. Our room in the attic had just been renovated, and we were the first to stay there. Our room was very nice, bright, and modern. The people who work there were very nice and accommodating. Even though we arrived at 8:00 a.m., we were still able to order food, even though the kitchen closes at 8:00 a.m. The food was also delicious and excellent value for money. There were also dishes that you (probably) wouldn't normally find.

If I could, I'd give it 10 stars! Staying here was fantastic and by far the best overnight stay on the Elbe Cycle Path! From the warm welcome from Katrin and the tips about the cycle path she gave us beforehand, to choosing the newly renovated rooms, which turned out to be truly beautiful, to the breakfast we received "exclusively." Dear Katrin, dear Heinrich, we really enjoyed our stay with you. We had a very restful night and wish you all the best for the ELB Nest 🤗🤗🤗

"We stayed in the Roter Milan holiday apartment with Katrin and Heinrich from August 21st to 28th, 2025, and felt completely at home. The apartment is modern, very clean, tastefully furnished, and fully equipped – it truly lacks nothing, leaving nothing to be desired. Katrin and Heinrich are wonderful hosts, warm, helpful, and always available. Breakfast can be added upon request, and there's also a bakery with fresh rolls directly opposite (about 100 meters away). A particular highlight is the snack bar, which is open three days a week: There, Katrin treats her guests to delicious potato waffle specialties – definitely worth trying! The location is quiet but ideal for excursions in the surrounding area. We had a fantastic week and would love to come back again!"

I felt very comfortable at Elb Nest. I stayed there during a cycling tour along the Elbe Cycle Path. The owner even helped me carry my panniers to my room upon arrival. I had a single room, which was modern and clean. There's a shelter available for bicycles. I had also booked breakfast, and there was a nice selection, so I was able to continue my cycling refreshed and energized.

We were only passing through, but the accommodation was a real highlight of our trip. We received a very warm welcome and can highly recommend the place. There's private parking, which we were able to use with our two motorcycles. We visited on a Friday and were lucky enough to eat in the on-site restaurant, which was absolutely delicious. A wonderful little family-run business; we'd love to come back.

We stayed at the ELBNEST over the weekend. We received a very warm welcome. The rooms are decorated with lots of LOVE 💘 and heart. Everything was perfect. The evening with dinner in the Elbstübchen was so cozy. The guests were all welcoming. But now for the special part. Katrin and Heinrich are very special. We had a bicycle breakdown and were immediately offered help, and together with Heinrich, the breakdown was fixed. Katrin made us laugh a lot in the morning with her stories. The two of them are unique and wonderful. Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend with you. We would love to come back, and then for a few more days. A party with around 20 people was no problem for this team. We felt very comfortable. Service: couldn't be better. Even feeding 20 people was no problem for this amazing crew. A venue like no other in the area. P.S.: It's a shame there aren't 6 stars. They definitely deserve them!

We were invited to an ice-skating event by friends. We stayed at the Elbnest for two nights. The room was newly renovated and well-equipped. Katrin was very accommodating and quickly addressed all our requests. Breakfast was also excellent. We felt very comfortable. We would gladly stay again. See you next time!
